Drs. Hunter and Tomasu are excited to announce the return of Dr. Kim Swan to Hunter Family Vision. After spending the last 4 years in Milwaukee, Dr. Swan and her family have decided to return to Kansas City. Before moving to Milwaukee Dr. Swan practiced at Hunter Family Vision while also having helped open our Prairie Village office and expand our pediatric specialty practice.
Dr. Swan graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee and then spent over 10 years in a pediatric ophthalmology group practice in Kansas City. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages but she finds working with kids especially meaningful. She plans on making a special emphasis in our budding Myopia Control Clinic, an endeavor to reduce the progression of nearsightedness in our younger patient population.
